Vulnerability Register

Finvence is the preferred technology partner and solution architects behind the Vulnerability Registration Service (VRS). The VRS is a Not for Profit organisation which owns the largest National Register of vulnerable individuals in the United Kingdom. The register contains the vulnerability 'Flags' associated with an individual and also the actions or 'Outcomes' that organisations should take to support them, which have been explicitly declared by the vulnerable individual themselves.


Finvence have undertaken the bespoke design, build and management of the entire VRS technology infrastructure including:

  • Cloud Architecture - secure and scalable database and back-end architecture
  • API Integration Suite - for organisations to search and register clients in bulk 
  • Business Portal - digital platform for organisations to search and register clients and access reports and insights
  • Consumer Portal - intuitive and easy-to-use digital portal for individuals to self-register and access additional supports

These technology enhancements are empowering greater usage and accessibility to the VRS register as well as delivering rich new insights to better support vulnerable individuals
